Michael C. Moore, Attorney
Michael has been practicing law for over twenty years. Michael is a member of the American Bar Association, Mississippi Bar Association, Mississippi Association for Justice, Mississippi Defense Lawyers Association, and Jackson Young Lawyers Association. He is licensed to practice in the entire State of Mississippi and federal courts, including the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. His areas of practice include family law, insurance defense, coverage opinions, contracts, criminal matters, personal injury, wills, estates and trusts, wage and employment matters, divorce, custody modifications, construction disputes, products liability, appellate work, worker's compensation, construction accidents, motorcycle accidents, 18-wheeler accidents, boating accidents, bad faith insurance disputes, and subrogation matters.
Michael handles and has litigated cases throughout the state of Mississippi in both state court and federal court matters as well as adversary proceedings in the United States Bankruptcy Court. Michael has also litigated cases in other states by way of pro hac vice.
Michael is the proud recipient of the 2013 Leadership in Law Award presented by the Mississippi Business Journal. Michael has also argued cases in front of the Mississippi Supreme Court and has several appellate decisions where he was counsel of record for either the appellant or appellee.
Michael lives in Rankin County, Mississippi and is married with three children and a stepson. When Michael is not working, he enjoys many outdoor activities with his children and wife, including golf, boating, exercising and traveling. Michael is a member of St. Marks United Methodist Church in Brandon, Mississippi.
Michael has also served as vice-president of the Erik Dampier Foundation, which provides support and guidance to youth in Jackson Metro area.
